My work has been selected for the forthcoming exhibition 'Apocalypse Now' at Red Wire gallery in Liverpool, curated by Joe McNulty and Josh Tennant. Apocalypse Now will reflect on interpretations of the meaning of an Apocalypse today, and bring together artists from the U.K whose work deals with Apocalyptic themes, from a very contemporary viewpoint to reflect on a very human dilemma.

Issue 12 of the Prague based international publication 'Magazine Fotograf' focuses upon the multiple meanings of the term 'reconstruction' in contemporary photography. I have written an article for the magazine which details my series 'Future Ruins'.

The 'City of the Immortals' has been selected by Australian Centre for Photography curator and director Alasdair Foster as a solo exhibition to take place in August/September 2009.

This new book features images from the 'City of the Immortals' project. This is one a series of art|catalogues by 010 artventures, published on the occasion of the Athens photo festival 08, organised by the Hellenic centre for photography. ISBN 123456778-345

Two images have been selected to feature in the exhibition 'The Art of Birmingham II' at the Waterhall Gallery of Modern Art, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. The show features work produced by artists from the region between 1940 and 2008, it runs from 15th November 2008 to 1st February 2009.
'City of the Immortals' has been selected as a solo show at APhF:08, at Lily Fragaki Gallery, Athens. This years theme is 'Mediterrean', focusing on identifying and highlighting the cultural, religious and environmental features of the region to create a common intercultural framework. The opening is on 11th November at 8pm.

Giles Borg's new movie '1234' launches tonight at the British Film Institutes 52nd London film Festival. Giles shot some scenes for the film at Elevator Gallery during the exhibition 'Relocating Absence' (see exhibitions). My work appears in the gallery shots, an excerpt can be found on the trailor at http://www.carsonfilms.co.uk/1-2-3-4/home/. All artists and curators involved in the exhibition are credited, as well as Elevator Gallery.

This autumn I am one of three artists selected by Rhubarb-Rhubarb to represent the UK at the Pingyao Photography Festival in China, along with Simon Roberts and Max Kandhola.

Impulsive Random Platform or IRP is a London based art zine/ publication, which invites emerging artists of all disciplines to display and promote their work via an alternative, experimental and accessible format. As project facilitator for 'Re-Vision: Celebrating Diversity through Photography', this European project was the runner-up for a European Champion Award at a recent awards ceremony in Brussels.

Upcoming show at the Centre for Contemporary Culture, Barcelona As part of a major survey of the author J G Ballard, work from the series 'Future Ruins' has been selected for the group exhibition J G Ballard: An Autopsy of the New Millenium (July - November 2008). It focuses upon Ballard's artistic and literary referents, and his precise, disenchanted visions of a future life governed by the concepts of anti-utopia and disaster.

Relocating Absence will be a group exhibition showcasing the work of thirteen internationally emerging artists exploring a series of interpretations of the theme. Through a variety of media, including sculpture, installation, video, photography and drawing, the exhibition plays with the constants of space and time. This exhibition is curated by Elisa Tosoni, Cherie-Marie Veiderveld and Simon Reuben White, with an accompanying essay by Matthew MacKisack.
